Wait…Fire Now Charges a iPhone?
– Hang on. I just wanna make sure it's actually lit. Hey, what's up guys. Keaton here. So, I found this weird, kinda iPhone stove gadget, that basically, when you light a fire, it will charge any electronic. So, let's get fired up, and make the worst jokes ever. And before we start, as always, make sure you ring that bell, and turn my notifications on. And once you've done that, comment down below, so I can give you guys a shout out at the end. It's gonna get lit real quick. So yeah guys, this right here's called the BioLite. If you guys wanna check it out, links down below. It goes for around a hundred bucks,
And they have a bunch of other, like, kits you can get with other accessories. I happened to get one of the pot ones, so I paid a little bit more. But basically how this works is, you light a fire, and then the energy produced charges this, which allows you to … Well, there's a USB port, if you couldn't tell, to charge like anything you want. So, in theory, we should be able to charge my iPhone off fire. And I was also told not to play with fire at a very young age, and I was just told it yesterday, by my Mom, who saw me playing with some matches. So, somethin' cool's about to go down.
So, I'm gonna go outside, and light a fire at my local park. I know that sounds really bad and sketchy, but there's no way I can do it in here without burning something down, or having all the sprinklers go off. So, this thing … And all the magic like really happens in, like… I don't know if I wanna call it, like, the battery part, but it picks up heat from the fire, and this isn't like a propane, or anything like that. You have to actually start the fire, with like a lighter, and stuff. ("We Didn't Start the Fire" by Billy Joel) And you have to … We're going to basically have to go gather, like,
Fire supplies at the park. This is what my life's become, and I love it. So, with this, there's actually an on button. I know right, crazy. And when you hit it, there's a fan. I don't know if you can hear that too well. That could control how much the fires intensity is? Words. Why do I even use 'em. You can do that, and then if you hit it again, it'll go into high mode, and it'll draw more power from the fire and, like, really put oxygen on it. 'Cause there's like this fan feature back here. So like, that's pretty much it. There's a USB port at the bottom,
And they say after 20 minutes of a fire, you should get around an hour's worth of talk time. We'll put that to the test. We'll be the judge of that. Ah, I hope this just works. (screeching tires) So, I'm deep in the Los Angeles Forrest right now. Miles away from civilization. And we're about to start a fire. I'm a little scared because Parks and Rec has done like three laps around, and I don't think starting a fire is something you can do. But, I wanna charge the phone, and it's all gonna be contained, and I'm safe, so let's find some stuff.
Alright, we got some sticks. And an entire tree branch. I think, God, this fire's gonna be going for a long time. No way. Some cardboard from a water bottle box. How could that have gotten here? We're miles away from civilization, fam. Alright, more sticks. I think we're good, think we're Gucci. So, it turns out, like, we can't light a fire at the park. Even though I'm miles away from civilization, so I'm goin' back to the house to do this. (screeching tires) We're gonna get this fire started. I'm really excited, I like fire a lot.
Well, let's just attach this real quick. The fan slash battery generator. And I guess, just, like, start putting stick and stuff in there. Got some sticks, got some Post-It Notes. Again, I found this in the jungle. And then some kindle or tinder or tinder or bumble, or one of the dating apps that you can use to start a fire. I'm clearly a pro at this. Alright, so I guess I'm just gonna get it goin'. I clicked the button, so it's on. The fan's going. That wantin' to do anything? Okay, maybe not. We'll just put that in there, let it do it thang.
Let it do it's thing. Oh, I smell something for sure. I'm just gonna start lightin' Post-It Notes on fire. Like, I don't really know. Alrighty. And, I almost just got burned. You gotta be kiddin' me. Ya gotta be kiddin' me. I'll come up with a new and better plan. I'm getting a propane torch. Okay, this should be a lot easier now. Money. I'll just start gettin' this thing goin'. Oh yeah, that's workin'. That is workin'.
We are gettin' some fire action in there. Awww. Yeah, we're gettin' a fire. There is definitely a fire goin'. Definitely a fire. Okay, wow. I just feel like this is gonna wrong so badly. I'm gonna keep tinderin' to the fire. Nope, that's not a good idea. That was not a good idea. And it is snowing in Los Angeles. I was a Boy Scout, once. I went to one meeting. And then realized it wasn't for me. Okay.
Okie dokie. That is a real fire. That is a real fire we got goin' on there. Okay, woo! We got it on high now. The fan, I switched it on to high. The high setting, you just click the button, turns green. It's lit. Okay. Alright, well. This table … It was nice knowin' you table. Ikea, ya did me very well. The big moment. Let's see if it'll actually charge my phone.
Got the USB port in there. Here we go. Sick. Oh my gosh, it works! Oh. I didn't think it was gonna work. It's actually charging my iPhone. This is a game changer. Alright, here we go again. Oh my God, and it's working. I did it. Fire. (coughing) Is actually charging my iPhone. Yes!
So yeah guys, I don't really know what to say. I burnt myself, I burnt Matt, I think I might've burned my iPhone? And my house looks like a volcano. So, like, does this thing actually work? Yes, it does. I think it might be because of my fire skills, but I charged my phone 1%. It took a little longer than I thought, but I think if I, like, actually had the fire goin' constantly, I could really start juicin' this phone up. But yeah, it works, and that's kinda cool. So yeah guys, that's producer for this video. It was super lit.
Thank you so much Maanas, for being this video's notification shout out. Subscribe to my channel. If you're new, I upload four new videos every week, and Tweet me at TechSmartt if you find anything else weird. I'm gonna stay lit. We're gonna … Alright, well, I just dropped my phone. Goodbye. It's Gabe's 21st birthday, so I got balloons. I'm in charge of 'em all. They were sold out of a lot.
