Quick look: Prisma for Android!
Hey guys Prisma a new photo app that's been quite popular over on iOS has just come to life on Android and we're going to be checking it out seeing if it's even worth installing on your phone now there are plenty of great editing applications in the Play Store but why would you choose to install this one well for one the filters provided are not just the regular Instagram variety that add layers and adjustments Prisma turns your images into computer-generated artwork inspired by popular artists such as Picasso Edvard Munch and more the app itself is very simple to use just snap a photo or
Select one from your gallery crop it and apply an artwork filter if the effect is too strong you can adjust the blending level with a swipe gesture and that's it you can save it to your gallery and share it via your third-party applications but there are a couple downsides to Prisma for example it doesn't allow you to fine-tune simple adjustments such as the saturation or sharpness of a photo and when you apply an artwork it usually takes a while to show you the final result so most of your time on Prisma will involve you watching the creating artwork text still
Your final outcome will definitely draw some attention on your friends timelines here are a few photos I have created using Prisma as you can see the effect is dramatic with results you couldn't achieve in any traditional photo editing app some people might even think you took a picture of a painting Prisma isn't a traditional image editor and that's fine because the effects it produces are just so unique but if you're looking for an app that gives a lot of control over the process Prisma probably isn't a good fit for you if you'd like to try it out for yourself
