Back yet again let's talk about the price first of all today ding ding ding we've got a winner here with $400 all right this is the perfect price for this phone it's situated in the low end of the market this is not your iPhone 11 Pro this is not gonna be your Huawei whatever high-end phone they have for the newest Samsung Galaxy this is Apple's lowest and offering but what you're getting for $400 I want to tell you I think it's the best deal out there right now there's three storage tiers so you have 64 128 and 256 the phone goes up to five hundred and

Forty nine dollars but I feel like most people just can be opting for the $400 option and colors nothing nothing too exciting here we got white black and product red but what's cool is that there is no white front iPhone se if you've never liked how the front of a white phone looks well you can get sort of the best of both worlds here the camera is something that people are always wondering about how good's the camera on this thing what do you get for $400 you're getting a direct copy essentially of the camera on the iPhone 11 Pro or the iPhone 11 it's that same

Standard angle 12 megapixel camera and it looks really great isn't per usual apples included some photos you know I have a feeling they they've planned these and they weren't just casual strolls in the park for instant but there's also portrait mode on here which was a bit of a surprise now apples done this on a single lens iPhone before but they even they've really gone all the way to the wall here with this iPhone including all of the portrait mode effects so you can mess around with the different lighting and really make your subject look

Exactly how you want them to but I doubt this would work on anything other than people that's been really the rule of thumb in the past so just one camera here this is a clear deference sheeter and probably the differentiator for Apple between highest-end three cameras middle to your two cameras and you know I don't wanna spend that much money on my phone you're just getting one camera but inside though is where I I'm most impressed by this phone there's an a 13 processor here that is apple's fastest processor on the iphone ever and i've been using it on the

Iphone 11 series since last september and it's blown me away not only does it have in the same battery improvements it's extremely efficient and it's extremely powerful like the games year-over-year we're impressive yet again so i get you're paying $400 you're getting the fastest latest processor which is gonna make this phone last a very long time now looking a little bit further in and with this processor enabled yes it is super fast but the battery life seems to be the same as essentially the iphone 7 if you had apple's iphone compare site

Compared the new SE to the older iphone 8 the 8 says it gets about the same battery life is the iphone 7 and the new se says it gets about the same battery life as the iphone 8 so even the numbers like 40 hours thinking of audio playback are identical it doesn't look like there are really any improvements and battery life but obviously you will have to test it out and see if we can tell for ourselves but don't expect anything great Apple is not really marketing this is having an insane battery game inside there's also a haptic engine like what's in the newest iPhones I find it

Interesting that Apple was you know not advertising the vibration functionality you know pretty prominently just like I get it there's not a ton to talk about with this phone but it is gonna feel very nice and subtle but also balanced when you get vibrations that's something that I've seen a lot of reddit threads about over the years it's like wow I switched to iPhone and I didn't realize how good the vibration was the taptic engine inside is really great there's a lot of variation in how it can vibrate and I'm just gonna stop talking about a vibrator before this video gets any

Weird but that there's Wi-Fi six inside which is Apple's fastest Wi-Fi standard I was surprised and see this because while it is in the iPhone 11 series and also on the newest iPad pro the dual camera setup usually it's like a more premium feature that I've want you to pay for it's also like the iPhone 8 we've got the ip67 rating on here which just means basically up to a meter of water for 30 minutes and then if some dust blows you can like you know not feel like your phone's gonna break or explode it's not gonna get in the circuit board and start

Upgrades it's gonna be I think a reoccurring trend for Apple because it does really well for the bottom line and at the end of the day it's a really good phone you could order this on at 4:17 I believe starting at 5 a.m. are you gonna be picking up this phone supporting Apple during the outbreak is happening if you if you don't have a new phone yeah it's a really good deal there's a family member that wants to upgrade this is like the perfect phone for them so here it is the iPhone se it's the iPhone 8 reborn and probably one of many that we're gonna see reborn in Apple's future
