Moto 360 V2 Unboxing and Review! (Second Generation)

What's up everybody this is Danny and today I'm gonna be unboxing and reviewing the new Moto 360 version 2 or second generation there are some significant improvements to this revised version of their new SmartWatch so let's get started with the new moto 360 unboxing and review the packaging is a little bit larger than last year's version but very similar in shape and this time you can see the selection that you've made that's because Motorola introduced moto maker for the watches well this year and you can customize it however you want from leather bands to metal ones sham

Firts 2 textures on the face black silver or gold the customizability really sets us apart from other smartwatches in the box you get the familiar wireless charging cradle a micro USB cord attached to the power brick for some reason and some extra links if you ordered the metal version and also some documentation and warranty stuff that you'll never read compared to the first generation the design looks similar but has some design changes and the most noticeable physical change are the large lugs on the top and bottom and I love the way this looks it gives a

Nice real watch look and also the ability to hot swap the band's with any 22 millimeter band and quickly the physical button now moves from the side to the upper right and has the Moto logo on it and that's a really nice design touch also the display gets a nice bump up and resolution to 360 by 330 still LCD though and not AMOLED but the display is pretty nice and the familiar flat tire still remains with the ambient light sensor housed in it and for some people it'll still bother them but for me it really doesn't there is a 400 milliamp hour battery in

This 46 millimeter version but there's also a men's and women's 42 millimeter version if you like a smaller watch the 46 millimeter is large in comparison though and I personally love it but what the lugs added it's the biggest overall SmartWatch that I've used this year maybe besides the LG watch urbane the display is a one point five six inch LCD and it looks pretty sharp surprisingly not being OLED though the always-on display doesn't drain the battery like I thought it was going to I was surprisingly almost getting two full days out of this battery with light

Usage and on some heavy use days I was getting about a day and a half but regardless you will definitely get a full day's worth no matter how hard you push this moto 360 so good battery life on the 46 millimeter the 42 millimeter though might be a different story since it has a smaller battery wireless charging is also a breeze for this or it uses the qi wireless technology so you can use any t wireless peripheral that you may have and it charges pretty quick too internally the second generation gets a better processor instead of that TI OMAP processor on the first gen now

You get a standard Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor with a half a gig of ram and 4 gigabytes of internal storage the performance is exactly what you would expect out of an Android wear SmartWatch but I did notice some stutter from time to time with this new moto 360 maybe a little bit more than some of the other Android wear watches I've used this year but nothing that will frustrate you on daily use if you're not familiar with the software you get your notifications via card like fashion you can reply right from the watch with voice recognition which works well most

Of the time you also have Google now to ask useless information right from your wrist and app support is growing daily with apps like Shazam and Amazon there are some gripes with the software that will more than likely be fixed in future updates so no need to complain about them here because they exist on all Android smartwatches for example sometimes I'll find myself with random Bluetooth disconnections but I have also have that this happened in other watches that I've worn this year something that I was really waiting for but a little bit disappointing is that Google made

Android wear watch is compatible with the Apple iPhone but even though that the 360 is compatible with the iPhone all you'll really get are notifications and you are really limited in functionality so I would not recommend it at this time unless you only just want notifications moto does have existing software that does give it some more customization features with modal connect and has some more extensive fitness tracking with modal body stuff you may not find on other Android wear smartwatches the heart rate sensor and fitness tracking performed

Decently exactly what you would expect out of the competition overall I think this is a great update to the fantastic first showing by Motorola I like the updated design the endless customization features and even though this is not so much different from the last generation I think there's enough here that I think warrants an upgrade especially if you want to customize your watch the bump up display the good battery life wireless charging and just the sheer good looks of this watch make it a great companion to any Android smartphone especially the Moto X pure or their new Droid turbo 2

And Droid Maxx I think this watch is unique enough to set itself apart from other manufacturers and I don't think you'll be disappointed in this purchase even though it can get really expensive if you customize it heavily so what do you guys think about the Moto 360 version 2 do you like it and what do you think about my custom build if you have one what combo did you go for leave your comments in the comment section below make sure you slap that like button if you enjoyed this video and make sure you subscribe for more content like this and
