JBL Endurance Peak Truly Wireless Earphone – REVIEW

by birtanpublished on August 24, 2020

Hey everyone want to check out some budget pair of wireless earphones that you guys have been requesting for but this time and over the ears set to see how these compare to the power beats pros knotted necessary a comparison video butts trying to see where these

Basically span these are the JBL endurance peak truely wireless earphones as always being transparent these were sent from JBL however my assessment was not altered in any way I'll be going over both the pros and cons as for

Pricing I'll leave my affiliate links down in that video description below click on those links for the most updated prices in real time you never know when these things might go on sale I'm Jimmy when Jim's review room and I'm

Here to help you guys make that purchase decision welcome everyone to another review Cordova physical features first the earphones themselves are all plastic with a slightly rubberized or silicone

Texture they don't necessarily feel cheap but when you get a closer look you can see the mold injection seams or so and I'm being a little bit in the Piggy here but you can tell that this is a budget alternative to the more expensive

Stuff out there now on the flip side these are highly durable though the endurance peak is ip7 certified meeting their claim to lessen all weather situations these seven actually means this can be submerged under water up to

Three feet for up to 30 minutes now with my testing drenching the peaks here the earphones are still working fine now these are also sweat proof so if you're dripping from running and working out these are also good to go very similar

To the Jeep or vistas now from my testing the ear hooks are highly flexible here the casing itself feels sturdy and rigid and overall these do feel like a highly durable product as for the looks you can be be judged

Comment down below no jumping into comfort and stability these feel really good to be clear before the price range they're perfectly fine at not apples to apples but again compared to something a little bit more expensive again the

Power beats pros the beats feels just a little bit lighter and more Airy less cumbersome fueling in general the silicon tips are super soft on the JBL model and they fit just ever so slightly inside of the ear canal and if anything

Very much filling the opening of your ear canal the amount of passive noise isolation provided is good and I can confirm better than any power beats pros now the ear hooks going over the ear don't pinch the back or top of my ears

At all it doesn't hurt hey don't move during vigorous movements and if anything they feel just ever so slightly more stable than the power beats pros now the arocs are quite interesting though when you pull it away this powers

Your earphones on when you take them off the ear hooks are magnetically reattached and this actually powers it down getting a closer look these are touch enabled in over time of

Testing different truly wireless earphones I'm telling you touch is the way to go the right earphone holds all of you actions swiping to adjust volume is intuitive double tapping the side or

Tapping it three times to skip and go back on your music respectively is easily recognizable and of course a tap to pause and play your music simply works now I just wish there were some controls on the left side just in case

Your right hand might be might not be free what is missing though you don't have any audio pass-through I believe every sport earphones needs this for situational awareness but you don't have that feature where the microphones turns

On and they pump in your environmental noises for safety and for awareness there's just times you don't need passive noise isolation you don't get that with JBL now there might I'm testing I can confirm you can take off

The left earbud and still have music play in mono sound on the right one that's somewhat of a way to hear what's going on around you similar to how jaybird claims up that's their workaround which i think is just ok at

Times with these two brands that's kind of I kind of feel like it's a cop-out to be cheap to not include that pass-through feature I don't know I'm just calling it out from the consumers viewpoints but testing this with the

Right earbud if I take this one off the JBL endurance peak does turn off so mono mode only works with the right earbud in now since we're talking about connections here the endurance peak comes with bluetooth 4.2 testing this

For distance I'm only able to reach about 50% of my 1,100 square foot apartment here for those who have been devoted fans of Jim's review room you know most bluetooth devices are achieving about 80% here and devices

With bluetooth 5.0 I'm usually getting about 90% or more coverage in my apartment with the endurance peak this is someone on the low end now although I can't initiate pairing mode on the right earphone I noticed it doesn't switch

Between two devices also testing this with video there's an ever so slight video sync delay on YouTube and a slight one on Netflix it's a very Monday one and could pass for some people's standards but it doesn't get bypass

Touching based on power these have up to four hours of better life before needing to go back into the case for recharging I tested this at 50% volume and was able to get four hours and minutes to be exact which is what JBL

Claimed that's a good thing but comparing to the competition out there others around that $100 price range for ours is slightly on the low end once again examine some Galaxy buds that are around $100 has six hours of battery

Life the Aki key series has seven hours the creative outliers has 10 hours per use again not bad for the GTL endurance Peaks here but I don't want to be a spec snob but of course it's situational and if you're not using these things for

Longer than 4 hours straight you're fine but again I like value now the charging case does offer you an additional 24 hours of battery life and you know I'm being nitpicky here about the port this year but we're still stuck at micro USB

We don't get USB C which is the connection of the future on a positive note though if you're in a crunch 10 minutes and the charger gives you an hour worth of music playback alright folks let's get into the audio

Performance here's the microphone test and before doing so please show you support by giving me some fire emojis down below you write of the entire comment section and be sure to go to my personal Instagram and Twitter handles

That I have on your screen right there it would mean two words to me if you can follow me there like those things on fire as well I want to feel that heat again I'll place it in the video description for your convenience all

Right folks here we go all right folks thank you for those fire modes I see them so testing out this microphone on a busy weekday morning during rush hour hopefully my voice is isolated versus the background fear and

A little bit of a breeze here is usually I notice that I'm just uh quite inside on the road pardon that I hope it does well if you guys can't get me out really for these puppies don't suck I also I want to point out when you are using

This for phone calls that early plate on the right side it doesn't play on both ears so it's not as solid and encapsulating for you guys alright back to this video alright folks welcome back here let's get into the audio

Performance first up these things do get loud 70 to 75 percent vamp is very loud and enjoyable basis thumping and surprisingly deep as I mentioned at the beginning of this review it's not necessary comparison video with the

Power beats pros but compared to my beats though it's very similar if not at time slightly deeper with the JBL endurance piece as for the mid-range it could use a little bit more forward 'no Slyke the power

Beats but if I didn't have these to compare side-by-side here at the endurance Peach are still really really good they're clear they're loud not muddy and for $100 quite pleasant there is some audio separation and a lot of it

A soundstage sure but nothing too impressive that would make me say these are way above their price range if anything the earphones I just in general here it sounds just really good for the price the high frequencies have never

Been ear ringing or ear dinging as well sometimes you get that with cheaper sets cheaper earphones that is it could use a little bit more brightness actually at the very top to make like cymbal crashes or even that constant taps of snares

More prevalent but overall it's still a good well-rounded basic set of earphones in the end here the JBL endurance peak they sound great if you're into basic audio and in this price range I just wish the Bluetooth performance video

Performance and having the feature of ambient aware or pass-through was available and at a minimum in my humble opinion here these would be a great set if you want something cheap you don't care if you lose them or so you just

Care about the audio and value of the ear hooks for stability it's not bad for a burger cheapo just needs some audio without wires kind of device folks down in the comment section but let me know what you

Think of these here if you haven't already be sure to subscribe and again follow my social media accounts and Jimmy little official and J little official on Instagram and Twitter respectively hope this one helps you out

Here hopefully all these videos help you out here catch you guys on the next one bye you
