Dell Latitude 9410 2-in-1 Review

This is Lisa from mobile tech review and this is the Dell Latitude 9410 it's a 14-inch business two-in-one with a CNC aluminum build diamond-cut sides they say on this not that looking for a business laptop it has a couple of those features supports a pen is available with optional LTE a 4G we're gonna look at it new so being that this is a business laptop mostly corporate volume purchase kind of thing the list price starts at around 16 59 for a core i5 with 8 gigs of RAM and 128 gig m2 nvme SSD you're gonna get the same full HD display that I'll talk about in a little while no matter which model and version

You go with on this but obviously depending on if you're an IT department buying volume deals all that you get the idea not not cheap business laptops aren't so speaking of that full HD display it's a pretty confident one actually pretty good gamut for a business laptop and then looks brighter than it is I think it might be a sharp eggs on display and they tend to have that pop and brightness but it also helps that it has Gorilla Glass 5 with an anti smudge and anti-glare coating it's still glossy but it does reduce reflections and up that makes it seem a

Little bit brighter so if you need a super high resolution laptop well you don't see them business laptops in full HD is certainly adequate for a 14 inch it's a touchscreen and it supports the del L pen which is sold separately for around 90 or $100 that is a Wacom a EE S Pen pretty good pen technology and up top there's a Windows hello IR camera and also a proximity sensor so that's part of excels Express this Express that they haven't even Express login Express charge you get the idea well this one is for quicker facial recognition long it is pretty neat say it's asleep you walk

Up to it senses that you walked up to it opens up the windows hello IR camera and it looks at you and says hey that's you likewise when you walk away he goes to sleep and it locks into and it actually works pretty well and pretty fast so I do think that that's more than a party trick that's pretty useful and a bit more secure so you don't have to worry about your work force actually remembering they lock their laptops when they wander away for a bit right sumen people actually get to go out and work some day soon since this is a business laptop we have Intel vPro

Available on the core i7 the core i5 is just a standard non Vee OCP now these are Intel tenth generation comet-like quad-core CPUs with Intel u HD graphics so not ice Lake not the Intel iris + graphics so these are a bit more geared toward zones are doing CPU heavy tasks more than graphics intensive tasks which again would probably fall into the purview of a lot of business users out there so being a Dell laptop 9000 means the highest end in the line there with latitudes we even with Inspiron and other lines so there's five thousands or seven thousand so nine

Thousand gets the fanciest treatment and not just the CNC aluminum chassis with the diamond cut edges you get the Gorilla Glass five on the display so it's cosmetically the nicest one out there and it has some of the highest specs available LTE a 4G is optional and it's a Qualcomm X xx Snapdragon modem and it comes an AT&T Verizon and Sprint flavors I wasn't quite sure why it's not just unlock for anybody and everybody but that's what it is what's on this are pretty good which you would hope for we're the business laptop we have two Thunderbolt three ports USB C style

Connectors on those two USB a 3.2 gen one points we have HDMI 2.0 headphone jack of course a micro SD card slot and of course that nano SIM card slot a smart card reader is optional interestingly with ultrabooks you know did you see much of the way of like different battery options here we do have that the 15 to on our battery is the standard one but you can also get a 78 one-hour which I believe knocks out the fingerprint scanner and the power button option and the smart card reader probably cuz there's only so much space for all of this stuff and Sun

Speaking of inside ram is soldered on board can get it with eight or 16 gigs of low power ddr3 RAM and anything from 128 gig all the way up to a terrible two terabyte m2 SSD that is upgradeable we have Intel Wi-Fi 6 onboard bluetooth 5.1 and that is an 8 X 201 card I would show you the internals but it shipped to us with one of the screws on the bottom stripped I mean totally stripped so rather than drill it out which might be a little much to do a tune or a review unit well we're just not gonna look at the internals but like all ultrabooks is not so much that you're gonna be doing

Inside being a business laptop they often have a bunch of milspec tests they run on the in fact it has passed 17 of them including shock vibration dust operating it in high-temperature operating at extremely low temperature dropping it to so good durability nice we like that again it's a 9000 series we expect all the bells and whistles here for a business laptop in terms of performance it's an ultra bug with a quad-core CPU so it's certainly adequate for most business tasks Word Excel streaming video making powerpoints oome video

Calls all that sort of thing this is not for 3d rendering and visualizations and that sort of thing obviously right and it does the job just fine and it feels responsive it has a very fast SSD and the only comment I would have is that the fans run more than typical for an ultrabook still ultrabook fan so not like SuperDuper lab but you'll hear it working a lot I mean it's a fairly slim metal chassis here and is the less efficient 14 nanometer Intel CPU and not the 10 nanometer eyesight but you know here in the fan if you're working it

Moderately even in like I said not gonna drown out and everything in there won't drown out the stereo speakers which are actually pretty decent on this for the keyboard it is backlit and white nice and evenly backlit not a lot of travel here and cuz these laptops can keep getting thinner and thinner but it has a nice tactile feel so I enjoyed typing on even if it's not ThinkPad esque and it's deep cushy travel and spring and you have a Microsoft precision trackpad on board which is as you would expect perfectly competent battery life of course whose going to vary depending

Whether you get the 52 watt hour battery which is the one that's available in most models but there is an optional 78 one hour battery if you can live without the smart card reader so battery life on this is decent again 14 nanometer CPU not than they were more modern architecture of 10 nanometer that would get a bit better battery mileage gas mileage you know I it managed seven and a half to eight hours on a charge for us and we have the Core i7 model and that's what the brightness set at 150 nits and light productivity work and some streaming video that's sort of stuff you

Can get it with the 65 watt charger or if you spend like $14 more you can get the 90 watt charger if you don't mind carrying around for even faster express charging it should do like 80% of the charge in one hours huzza again once we're traveling and we worry about those things that will be nice so that's the Dell Latitude 94 10 14 inch 2 and 1 convertible business ultra book with pen support yeah that's so great for no takers diagramming vertical market use an optional 4G LTE always a plus and very fast fast charging and I kind of really do like that Express

Login feature and Express lock you out feature it's it's works well I'm Lisa from mobile tech review be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more cool tech videos and thumbs up if you like this vid
