CORSAIR K63 WIRELESS REVIEW – The Ultimate Gaming Keyboard

by birtanpublished on September 14, 2020

Hi everyone its mark from silenced tech and today we're checking out a new gaming keyboard from Corsair and it gives keyboards that are far more expensive they run for their money and welcome to my review of the awesome k63 wireless mechanical gaming keyboard

Corsairs first ever wireless keyboard is the best of both worlds it's made my life so much more convenience not only does it provide all of the benefits of a regular wired gaming keyboard such as a one millisecond response time I can also

Unplug the cable to use it in wireless mode as well without any compromises plus its Bluetooth capabilities allows me to use it on other devices such as my second PC I'm also covered on the couch if I pair the keyboard up with Corsair

Slap board all of these great features bring the whole setup together extremely well for all of those reasons combined this is possibly the best keyboard I've ever had the pleasure of testing that said the design doesn't particularly

Look anything special especially when you compare it to Corsairs top-tier k95 platinum thankfully we still get a fully mechanical keyboard with cherry MX red switches sure isn't RGB but I can live without that for the colossal features

Available on this jam-packed keyboard the pricing isn't too bad either a hundred and nine US dollars and 114 UK pounds in my opinion that's fair considering the options it gives to gamers in a compact 10 keyless design

Unfortunately it doesn't have an aluminium or aluminum top plate like the K 70 but there's plenty of signs the mechanical wireless keyboard is still robust and well made there's no flexing or bending at all and I'm very confident

The keyboard will last you a very long time plus for a keyboard she's pretty hefty considering its compact size weighing in at just over a kilogram although it won't cause too much strain carrying it abouts it fits inside a bag

Pretty easily as well since it measures at only 36 centimeters across as previously mentioned the keyboard isn't RGB but it does feature blue LED lighting and you're able to toggle between two modes of brightness I don't

Find the backlighting particularly although the bold fonts and blue plastic underneath helps the key stand out a little bit more when gaming in wired or Wireless mode the keyboard excels RGB or not although I did lose about 5 fps

Compared to any other RGB keyboard are used luckily the keyboard does have a hundred percent anti-ghosting full n key rollover well placed dedicated media keys and even a Windows key lock toggle

The wireless range of this keyboard seems pretty decent at first the keyboard would struggle reconnecting to my PC once it went into sleep mode after a certain distance say around one meter but since courser have now provided me

With another version of their corsair q software she's been running like a tank and i've literally had no issues with this keyboard at all since I know it highly recommends to do a clean install of course there's Q software if you buy

This keyboard and experience any issues the wireless receiver uses a 2.4 gigahertz connection and you won't notice the difference switching between wired or wireless the range is more than acceptable as well at my couch over two

And a half meters away the signal never dropped or glitched once Bluetooth on the other hand was a bit slow at times and I wouldn't recommend it for competitive gaming of course but for typing and general computer work that

Connection is perfectly fine battery life in Wireless mode it will depend on how much you use the keyboard or if you have the LED lighting on or off with the lighting off coarser States 75 hours and only 10 hours with the lights on and

That is a really good battery life with the lighting off but terrible with it on when I now fully understand why Corsa didn't include this keyboard with RGB lighting the keyboard would have probably only lasted about an hour

Hopefully in the coming years more power efficient RGB LEDs will be created or at least course there may be able to release a wireless mechanical keyboard that allows you to toggle through several different

LED colors giving people the option to match the keyboard to their own gaming setups so what score says first-ever wireless keyboard like to type and game on the red cherry MX switches provided have a linear travel with no click great

For competitive gaming with only four millimeters of travel before the key bottoms out and they only need two millimeters of travel to activate the art is snappy as cherries MX speed switches found in the likes of the case

MT rapid-fire but at least they're ever so slightly better to type on I'm personally not typist but I've never had much of a problem using cherry MX Reds while writing scripts I'll let you hear how the keyboard sounds there we have it

Guys and girls that's my review of Corsairs k63 wireless mechanical gaming keyboard my summary is basically the same as my introduction this keyboard is a dream come true catering for my every need that said if

You don't ever use two devices or game on the couch the wireless capabilities may not appeal to you sure there's other keyboards up to the job but none offer all of the features in one slick package it's a stellar job from Corsair and my

Final award is going to be my highest platinum and it seems the only thing holding courser back is the limits of technology my name is Mark RC a real soon guys I hope you've enjoyed the review goodbye
